A private property on the Bellarine Peninsula, styled within an inch of its life by Weddings of Desire. Soft draping, pastels, and a dance floor that never once emptied.
Watch the filmReal wedding days from across Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula, and regional Victoria.
Every wedding moves differently. Some are loud and full of energy. Others are quiet and intimate. I focus on the moments that make each day feel like the couple in it, from the big celebrations to the small in-between reactions you'd miss if you blinked.
If you're mapping out your wedding and working out who you want in the room, it helps to see how other days have come together. Browse the films above, then take a look at the suppliers and venues I recommend or read through the Melbourne wedding planning guide. For a sense of how other couples describe the experience, the reviews on Google are a good place to start.
Every one of these Melbourne wedding films comes from a real wedding day. No staged reshoots, no borrowed footage, no templates. One filmmaker, start to finish, from the first email through to the final delivery.
You'll see weddings across the full range of Victoria. Vineyard days in the Yarra Valley at venues like Coombe and Stones. Coastal weddings on the Mornington Peninsula and the Surf Coast. City receptions in Melbourne and Collingwood. Farm and private property weddings out in regional Victoria where the land does half the work. Each one looks different because each couple is different, and the film is built to match them rather than a formula.
The speeches. The vows. The unscripted reactions between the big moments. That's where a wedding film actually lives. The best footage is almost never the posed shot. It's the glance, the held breath, the laugh that lands because only that person could have said it. Every film here is edited around those moments first.
The questions that land in my inbox most weeks, answered the way I'd answer them if you asked.
Full Day starts at $4,390. Elopements and micro weddings start at $2,500, Monday to Wednesday, built for a day with just the two of you and the people who matter most.
Full Day covers most weddings, prep through to the party. Extended is for the longer 11 to 12 hour days. Send me your ceremony and reception times and I'll tell you which one fits. You can book the base package now and change it closer to the day.
Full Day is up to eight hours. Extended Day is up to twelve. Elopements are shorter, which is the point.
Usually not. I film most weddings on my own. If you're both getting ready close to each other I go one after the other, and you can put that money towards something else. If the two preps are far apart or the day is big, a second shooter for the morning is an option.
The wedding film, edited to around five to seven minutes. And the raw footage, everything I shot with live audio, with your full ceremony and speeches in there start to finish. Think home video vibes, the stuff you'll want to hear again in ten years.
Probably. I've filmed 600-odd weddings across Melbourne and Victoria. Ask and I'll send you one from your venue or somewhere close to it. If I haven't been there before, it doesn't change how I work. You still get me working my hardest to give you something you'll love.
No. Almost nobody is good on camera, including me. I don't pose you or run you through a shot list. Once the day starts you'll realise you don't have to do anything for the camera, it all just happens.
Yes, in every package, where the venue and the weather allow it.
Not for most of Victoria. Beyond about an hour and a half out of Melbourne there's a travel fee, and I'll tell you what it is up front. Interstate is fine too, same deal.
A $1,000 deposit and a contract hold your date. The rest is due two weeks before the wedding. That's it.
A short teaser within a day or two. The full film within 10 to 12 weeks, and I'll tell you where it's up to.
If you've got something in mind, or even just the vibe, tell me. Otherwise I put it together from how your day felt and who you two are.
I wrap after the formalities once the dance floor is going, usually around 9 to 9:30pm. If you want the sparkler exit or the last song, add End of Night any time before the wedding.
Yes. A quick call is easier than going back and forth over email. I've usually got time in the week.
