Everything considered.
From the moment you stepped into the space, Stones of the Yarra Valley felt like it had been set up to work. Soft pastel tones running through the whole day. Florals, table styling, the way the light hit the room. Nothing overdone, and every decision looked like it had been made on purpose.
The ceremony was the standout. Sugar Bee Flowers framed the space with layers of texture and colour that had presence without swallowing it. Jorgia Brown led the whole thing with calm energy, which let Rebekka and Guy stay grounded while everything moved around them. That matters a lot on film. When a couple can just be in the room and trust the person running it, you get real moments.
Rebekka wore Made With Love Bridal and it suited the day exactly. Hair by Mary Nehema and makeup by Nadine Haddad held the look together from start to finish, polished without being too much.
When every element of a day is considered, the camera just has to show up. The day does the work.
Saint and Co handled planning and styling, and you could feel it in how smoothly the day moved. Ceremony to reception, nothing jarred. The spaces felt connected. Corey Wright was on photo alongside me and it was good to share a day with someone who works the same way.
The Yarra Valley Cake Company sat right in the middle of the reception space, surrounded by florals and soft lighting. Like This Entertainment took over as the night kicked in and the floor filled fast. A live wedding painter was in there too, working the room as it happened. A lot of layers to this day, and they all worked.
