Chloe
& Cian.

Colour everywhere and a pinata where the cake should have been. Nobody sat down all night.

Some days just have it.

Chloe and Cian got married at Rupert on Rupert in Collingwood, and it was obvious by mid-morning what kind of day it was going to be. Colour everywhere, and a couple who brought their own energy without needing a single prompt from me.

Rupert on Rupert is the kind of venue that works with you. Industrial bones, enough natural light, and a layout that lets the day breathe. It suited them perfectly, a space with personality for a couple with plenty of their own.

Celebrant Jorgia Brown from Dare To Love Ceremonies ran the ceremony and stayed on as MC for the night. That continuity of voice made a real difference. The ceremony felt personal and easy rather than formal and stiff. Jorgia knew the couple, and it showed in every moment she held the room.

The kind of day where you don't need to manufacture moments. You just need to be in the right place when they happen.

The Huxley Trio set the tone early, live music filling the space with something warm and celebratory that never sat in the background. Then the DJ from Hey Jack held the energy exactly where it needed to be for the rest of the night.

And instead of a cake, a pinata. Chloe and Cian built the day around what they actually liked, not around what a wedding is supposed to look like.

Colour was the whole thing.

Babylon Flowers brought a palette that was bold and considered at the same time. Not colour for the sake of it, but colour that matched the energy in the room. It set the visual tone for the whole day.

The vibe

What made this one work.

The ceremony gave me a lot to work with. Real lines, real reactions, the kind of laughter that sounds exactly like the people it came from. Jorgia's MC work through the night kept the energy consistent, which made the edit feel like one continuous thing rather than a day split in two.

Talia Jade had Chloe's hair looking incredible, and Raffaele Ciuca delivered a dress with actual presence. These details matter on film. Not because they need to be the focus, but because they add up to a day that looks and feels considered.

Motta Weddings was on photo. Always good to share a day with someone who works the same way.

Every good day has a good team behind it. Here's everyone who made this one what it was.
