Wedding Film · Mount Mitchell Estate · Victoria

Alex
& Rob.

Old-world character, wide-open countryside, and a day that felt genuinely calm and joyful from the first moment to the last.

Elegant. Relaxed. Rich with feeling.

Mount Mitchell Estate in the Victorian countryside gives you something that’s hard to manufacture. Scale. Stillness. A venue that feels stately without being stiff. Long driveways, tall trees, golden fields. Alex and Rob wanted their day to feel elegant but relaxed, and the venue helped them find that balance from the moment guests arrived.

Laura from Weddings of Desire handled planning and her work behind the scenes meant the day moved seamlessly. No gaps. No moments of chaos. Just one part of the day handing smoothly to the next, which is exactly what you want when you’re filming it.

Teresa Twiname from Marry Me Tee officiated. Warm, personal, and genuine. The ceremony had real weight to it. Alex wore a Bridal House gown and looked incredible throughout. Tonic Agency kept hair and makeup polished and natural, which landed beautifully on camera.

“The eye contact during vows. The laughter in the speeches. The dance floor at full tilt. This day gave everything.”

Katie Harmsworth was on photography, calm and precise throughout the day. Great to share the space with. Flower Queen brought fresh, lush arrangements that suited the estate’s natural setting without competing with it. Going Gourmet delivered food that matched the tone. The Baker Boys kept the energy up from the first song and the floor stayed full.

Mad About Cakes was both a centrepiece and a crowd-pleaser. Every detail of this day was considered without feeling forced.

Mount Mitchell
Estate.

Long driveways, golden fields, and soft countryside light. The kind of venue where every frame feels like it belongs in the film without any effort.

What made this one work.

Teresa’s ceremony gave the edit something real to anchor to. The way Rob looked at Alex during the vows. The laughter in the speeches that felt completely unplanned. You can not stage those moments. You just have to be in the right place when they happen.

The estate added visual richness to every frame without being distracting. It let the people be the story, which is exactly how it should be.

The Baker Boys read the room well and the reception built beautifully. By the time the floor was full it felt inevitable, like the whole day had been building to exactly that.

Every good day has a good team behind it. Here’s everyone who made Alex and Rob’s day what it was.
